Rice Grain Studs

A subtly unique pair of minimalist studs. Each grain of rice is hard carved in sterling silver and polished with a matte finish for a contemporary look. The silver then go through a process of depletion gilding—a methodical technique of repeatedly heating and immersing the piece in acid. This leaves a beautiful white layer of pure, fine silver on the surface, emulating pearly white grains of rice. 

A Black Rice version of this classic stud is also available, made using oxidised sterling silver.
